We offer classes in beautiful art objects created with delicate translucent Porcelain or wonderfully creative and useful Stoneware, both of which are high fired clay products that are used to help you create uniquely decorated pieces for your home or even the oven! Design a Doll Birthday Party
The parties are great for that special day and a unique experience for that special person and their friends. There is no Facility charge. The shop can be decorated, and refreshments served. Minimum of 6 party goers. We can accommodate up to 14.Guest will make a 21-24 " porcelain or earthenware /cloth body doll of their choosing.The Hair color, Eye Color, and Skin tone are all options to choose from. The Kit includes doll, wigs and bodies,and pellets for stuffing doll. At least 6 weeks are needed before hand to ensure confirmed delivery of stock items. The clothes are not included.Price $25 to $45.per person depending on the doll chosen stop by email or call we will make it special for you

Girl Scout Troop 128 wanted to do something a Little Different with rewards for selling Cookies.Our local Troop Leader contacted us about having the girls make a Porcelain Doll. It was agreed and about 3 weeks later We're Making Dolls was filled with 14 Girl scouts ranging in ages form 9 -11 years old. You can see from just a few of the pictures that they really enjoyed themselves. The Girls started with Porcelain Bisque. Then were instructed on how to paint their dolls. After a couple weeks of painting. The dolls were ready to assemble. Each of the Girls Scouts painted stuffed and assembled their babies with minimal help. Some of the steps that they had completed in the doll making process counted toward earning some of their badges. In the end it was a wonderful success ,and hope they all had as much fun during this time as we did.. Thank You !MAKING A TWIN!

The cost of supplies used to make the doll start at $19.95
Doll sizes start around six inches and go to five feet. Most dolls can be completed in as little as 3- 5 visits.
Clothes, wigs, and stands( if needed) cost from $5.00 and up.All other necessary supplies are included. Clothes can be special made to your specifications. If you can sew we have hundreds of patterns from which to choose from. You may check them out for your use.If you can't sew and would like to learn,we will be happy to help you there as well.
Classes are available days and evenings.We try our

DOLLMAKING PROGRAMS AVAILABLE
DOLLY BASICS 1,2,3
Complete Sweetness and Serenity, and enroll in our “Dolly Basics 1.2.3.” program. This is a step-by-step continuation of dollmaking with two more fascinating dolls for the beginner. Over the course of a couple of months, you will complete Holiday Helper, and May. Holiday Helper will introduce you to a slightly more advanced cloth-bodied doll. May will introduce you to a doll with a jointed all-porcelain body. Each doll will challenge your china painting skills and introduce you to new techniques.
COMPLECTION CONECTION
Do you want to explore new color possibilities for your dolls, but are not sure where you need to start? In these exciting hands on classes, you will learn the fundamentals of painting dolls in color harmony. We will teach you to become a color expert. You will also learn how to make a mohair wig. At the end of these classes, you will feel comfortable working with colored porcelains and a variety of china paints. Move forward exploring the wonderful world of color. Dolls to be completed are: Molli, Zelma and Kerstin.or your choice.
DECORATIVE ARTS PROGRAM
A new realm of porcelain possibilities! Painting on porcelain dolls is one thing, but learning how to make new types of decorative art pieces is a wonderful addition to your education. Incorporate Deco Dip, color burst kits, new types of brushes, glazes (Galaxy Glaze and clear glaze), decals, overglazes (gold and lusters), casting, attachments, lace draping, Lithophanes and figurines into your achievements. In these classes you will learn how to use a variety of products and incorporate them into special decorative arts pieces.
You will make Gabrielle, Heinrich, Karl, the Fabulous Egg, and a Lithophane. You will also receive the molds for a porcelain box (to cast and add attachments) and Jewelry (to cast and use as an attachment). You will work on six different projects. With each project you will learn a new technique.
MAST
At any time during your education, you can learn how to start from scratch using a plaster mold. If you want to be in control of your own greenware, this is the perfect step for you. Casting is a skill that you will develop over time. With our “Master Caster” program, you will get in-depth and hands-on instruction so that you can cast your own dolls and porcelain pieces. The program will encompass details on how to handle porcelain slip, care for molds,
cast the slip, remove the ware from the mold, attachments, patching and much more. For more information, ask for our flyer.
